Microscope Miniworld
Investigate the world unseen by the naked eye and learn the proper use of various types of microscopes. Examine your own hair, pond water, and prepared slides. Ages 5-8 w/adult, $15; ages 9+ $10 each. Pre-registration required. This class is part of the Summer Program schedule. Museum admission included in class fee.

Passport to Adventure Day
This special event day is part of the Countywide Passport to Adventure Program, which encourages kids of all ages to visit county museums to learn more about their greater community. Obtain or bring your Passport (available at all participating locations) to get stamped, and register for grand prizes, to be given at the end of the summer.
Passport to Adventure Day includes creepy crawly demonstrations with our live animal collection at 10:30, 12:30, and 2:30. Guided tours will be given at 11:30, 1:30, 3:30.

Shark Dissection
Receive a hands-on lesson in anatomy through the dissection of a dogfish shark. Each participant will work on their own specimen. Ages 9+. Pre-registration required. $20 each. This class is part of the Summer Program schedule. Museum admission included in class fee.
