Volunteers provide extra hands to assist our small museum staff. If you have an interest or talent, we can probably use it!

While we have not yet implemented a regular volunteer schedule, we maintain a list of volunteers and their interests to call on as needed. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer to:

• Help build new exhibits or install temporary ones
• Provide simple building upkeep, i.e. repair, carpentry, painting, etc.
• Help with occasional maintenance and cleaning
• Work with guests on crafts during Christmas and Spring Break activitiy days (usually weekdays)
• Be a birthday party host/ess (usually weekends)
• Help with mailings
• Work on special events, i.e. man a fair booth, usher, serve refreshments, set up/tear down
• Work on fund raisers like the annual garage sale
• Share a special knowledge by presenting a Kids Science Series program, teaching a one-hour summer class, or being part of a themed event like an anthropology fair
